I would have a look under the car to see if the rubber pipes that are connected to the DPF (looks like fuel line) have not broken before you start to worry too much, when thus happens the EML codes tend to imply that the DPF is full/needs regeneration. hi need some help or advice as getting to a point of having enough. Have a 08 mondeo 2.0 tdci. 3weeks ago it went into safe mode was towed to garage and was told that the dpf was not regen. the ford garage then tried to regen the dpf only for the system to crash and shut down.

Having had a 2.0 tdci mondeo and being a ford tech I’ve came across this on my own 130000 mile car and others, 2 rubber pipes off the dpf to the bulkhead sensor brake up, suck in or just crumble away, either way you need to replace those, some times the sensor also. You then need ids to do a forced regen because it hasn’t been able to do one.
